I couldn’t be more excited to share this recipe with you guys – it is such a nice morning treat and something totally different from my usual green smoothie or porridge for breakfast. The cardamom makes it extra special, and the turmeric really makes the whole thing pop! The frozen bananas add a delicious creaminess, and I like to use really ripe mangoes for extra sweetness. I think I am addicted to smoothie bowls. Although they are basically just a smoothie in a bowl, my favourite part is decorating them! These toppings on this Mango Lassie Smoothie Bowl make every bite super crunchy and flavourful – the mulberries are my favourite addition! This bowl doesn’t take long to make either, and it’s a great way to “wow” guests. If you’re not into mango, my Easiest Smoothie Bowl is also a huge hit and one of my favourites! 

 

Mango Lassi Smoothie Bowl

A healthy mango lassi smoothie bowl recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1 handful frozen mango

  • 1 handful frozen cauliflower florets

  • splash of coconut milk, to blend

  • the juice of 1/2 a lime

  • spices (optional): 1 tsp cardamom, 1/4 tsp turmeric

Directions

  • Add all ingredients to a food processor, a high-speed blender or mix with a hand-mixer. Blend for about 2-3 minutes, or until really creamy.
  • Top with desired toppings. Enjoy!
