When I first discovered green smoothies, I was extremely experimental. I would throw in anything and everything from limes and lemons to zucchini and swiss chard. I learned quickly how to make the green colour stay and how to balance out the bitterness of kale with fruits. I used to be a huge fan of adding fresh herbs like parsley and mint, and then I had a “just spinach and bananas” phase, which was also awesome.
The one smoothie I always stuck with was this guy. I added some cinnamon out of curiosity one day and it turned out fabulous. This is always my go-to/staple green smoothie. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it! X
